“Positivity goes a long way” may be cliché but truthfully, it is very true. Positivity has the power to really turn a bad situation into a better one at the very least, even if it is not the best. Frankly, that should be good enough. So if you are pissed off after learning that your husband or wife is in jail and now you feel obligated to help bail or her out of jail, turn your scowl up just a little bit and look at bail like this:
Your loved one is coming back home.
Obviously, if your loved one has been arrested, they are going to sit in jail and they are going to be there until they can bail out. Your kids will start asking where Mom or Dad is, and it is painful to figure out how to tell them. It is painful just knowing your loved one is in jail, alone, and miserable. The sooner you can pay for his or her bail, the sooner your loved one can come home and you can be a full family again. Look at paying for bail in that respect, a more positive light. You will have a united family, ready to face the next steps together.
Fullerton Bail Bond Store is available to help speed up the bail process by providing you with a bail bond at an affordable cost, one much more affordable than paying for the entire bail yourself. If you need us, we will be here to answer your questions without keeping you waiting.
We are available online and by phone 24/7, so Chat With Us or call 714-648-0586 now.
Should you ever agree to co-sign someone’s bail bond, you must take your role very seriously. Being a bail bond co-signer, even for someone very close to you, puts you at risk of losing money and/ or belongings you put up as collateral. You essentially must stay on top of them and see that they go to their court dates, do not flee, do not get into additional trouble, or more such as obeying curfew or going to counseling.
If the defendant violates any of his or her release terms and conditions, then he or she can be re-arrested. The bail bond will be revoked and then you may owe the bail bond company money and your collateral.
However, you are not at a total loss here. You can sign on to be a co-signer, and then at anytime sign-off. If, at some point, you feel as though the defendant is not trustworthy and will create an issue with the bail bond, you can contact your Fullerton Bail Bond Store bail agent and request to have your name removed as a co-signer. Your bail agent will honor this request and bring the defendant back in. Once you are removed from the bail bond, you will no longer face any risk of losing your money and belongings; you will get your pledged collateral back. There is no punishment to you for withdrawing your name.
To learn more about what it means to be a bail bond co-signer and what it takes from you, contact your Fullerton Bail Bond Store bail agent online now or call 714-648-0586 at any time. We are here to get your loved one out of jail, but we are also here to protect you as a co-signer too.
Starting June 9th, people age 18, 19, and 20, will no longer be able to purchase tobacco products in California. Currently, you have to be at least 18 years old to buy cigarettes, but this is a move towards lowering teen smoking, an act which we are all aware has serious health risks. The Institute of Medicine conducted a study that resulted in 90% of daily smokers admitting to have begun smoking before they were 18.
California is the second state, behind Hawaii, to raise the legal smoking age and we will not be surprised if other states follow.
Anyone who is caught selling tobacco products to individuals under the age of 21, after the law change, can be charged with a misdemeanor. They will have fines, can face jail time, and may lose their license to sell product.
If in the future, you need bail bond help because someone you know has been arrested for violating the new tobacco laws in California, our Fullerton Bail Bond Store team can help you out. Please contact us immediately online or on the phone at 714-648-0586.
It is no secret that cigarette smoking is increasing among teens; not everyone obeys age limit laws. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration are constantly implementing new rules for smokers and the most recent ones focus on manufacturing, labeling and marketing, and not selling to those who are 20 or younger. The new rules apply to smoking cigarettes, cigars, hookahs, and also the more popular and “safer” e-cigarettes.
Everyone is well-educated on the risks of smoking – both for the self and for others passing by who inhale those fumes, which is called second-hand smoke. Despite knowing the health risks, people smoke anyway to relieve stress, to calm down, because of peer pressure, or because it’s “cool.”
The new regulations will take time to be implemented but note that violations can result in some hefty fines, losing licenses to manufacture and/ or sell, and even jail time, depending on your role in violating the rules. It is best to read up on current and forthcoming rules and regulations.
Violators who are jailed will very likely be offered bail to get out. If this happens to you or someone you know, please contact Fullerton Bail Bond Store. We can provide you with a more budget friendly way of bailing out of jail.
